1t and 2t??

I did some research on command rate some time ago, and came away nearly as ignorant as before the research.

I think it went something like this:
- Command rate has to do with memory bank selection (CS or chip-select signal).
- The latency incurred by command rate only appears when selecting/switching memory banks.
- Since not all memory operations involve switching banks, 2T bandwidth impact is minimal.

Whether your system is 1T-capable depends on a number of factors, including hardware, software and chipset.

Hope this helps!

Definitely not 15%. More like 8% in the worse case scenario.
In most games its only a 3-5% hit.

i remember some members posting that 1T and 2T factor affects AMD setup more then Intel setups, is that true?

I dont' think Intel have to use 2T for the most part, one advantage of thier off die RAM controller over A64's on die one.

Yes go with 1T, but I can tell you this....there is no way in hell that it gets you a 10-15% increase, the best you might get is like 8%.

Most of the time you will realistically only see about a 3-5% increase.
