1st Job Question: How much was your 1st check?

Around $110-120 (dont remember exactly) for a couple days of cashier training.

My first job was 16 years ago when I was 14.

So I can't really remember back that far 🙂

 

I think I got about $45 for 8 or so hours at the golf course. This was almost 8 years ago.

I was 16 at my first job. I worked as I aid in a hospital pharmacy after school. That was eons ago, so I don't remember how much I got. I saved up enough to get a bike though, a Schwinn Varsity. I loved that bike, as it give me my first taste of freedom. Sadly it was stolen from me.🙁

Minimum wage cleaning floors and pans at the YMCA for 4 days/week. I'm not even sure if I made $2000 for the entire summer.

my first check was around.. 300 dollars?

the job payed 24 hours for hte first check regardless of how many you work that first week. So even though i had 40 hours worked, that's all i got payed.

though the nice thing was all those hours get tacked onto your final paycheck 😀 so that one ended up around 2.5k.

edit : it was at a paint store. I had a job prior, but i dont remember how much that paycheck was.
