both are great, but I think bacon has the edge. you get ALOT more surface area on your tongue for your $

It depends, I'll eat 1lb of rib eye in one sitting as a meal. I'll only eat a few slices of bacon as a topping or side.

I love the taste of dead cow over any form of dead pig.

And bacon, shocking I know, I'm just not a huge fan. On a Chicken BBQ sandwich (slice of grilled apple too, perhaps... though, that may be more fitting for bbq pulled pork).

Now, one pound of Ham, or awesomely-prepared Pork Loin, versus a pound of ribeye, that would have been a more difficult choice, but steak gets the nod unless I've had a lot of steak recently. I get "burnt-out" on any type of animal if I have that tasty animal too often in a short time-frame.

Ribeye isn't my first choice of dead cow cut, but definitely not the last either.

Can't exactly eat 1 pound of bacon as easy as you can a ribeye.

Plus the 1 pound of bacon becomes about .5 pounds after cooking it. :(

I will say 1lb of bacon only because I am able to enjoy that 1lb worth of bacon many times over over several meals compared to having all 1lb of ribeye in one sitting. 1lb of ribeye is too much for one sitting, at least for me, so it would seem like a chore just to finish it.
