1ghz socket a t-bird overclocking

first you gotta unlock your multiplier..using the pencil trick. using a pencil, look on the top of your CPU and look for the L1 bridges. theres lots of articles around this site 🙂 just look out for them. and you gotta have a MB that lets you change your multiplier and FSB.
🙂

make sure you got some good ram too

To do the pencil trick you will first need to get a pencil, ie. a mechanical pencil, and then using the grphite draw over the level 1 Bridges. this will now enable your mobo to have full multiplyer capapbilities and you may then change the settings and the out come will be higher speed. You will also need to increase the voltage or the CPU wil become unstable or not even boost. And also remember when you overclock a CPU it will generate much mroe heat and you will need a good HSF to kep the temps running somewhere around the high 40C -> low 50C.

Hope this helped you out.

Albert.

Is it true that if you use the pencil trick, you need to keep doing it because the lead isn't good connector.
I read somewhere you need conductive ink pen.
