a friend of mine has just upgraded the bios on his se440bx-2 intel mobo. the documentation says that it will now support up to 850 cumines, but the 850 was the fastest coppermine available at the time of the bios upgrade, so that really doesn't tell us much. my friend really wants to put in a 1gHz coppermine. will this be alright, or can he truly only get to 850? just so you know, he currently has 448 Mb pc-100, geforce2 gts on a pIII-450.
