1gb ocz or 2gb a-data

mmy personal experience with OCZ ram has been marvelous. THey are great chips, probably the best brand in the market. Go for the oczs

ya i know they are very nice i own two rev 2 1gb dual channel kits but i was thinking maybe 2gb slower ram would be better than 1gb fastest ddr ram there is. ive never tested this so i need some opinions about what would in the end helps more. that ocz makes great ram is out of question 🙂

For which platform ? P4 or A64 ??

I'd rather have 2gigs over 1gig, probably not a noticable difference unless you benchmark it..

Jose

Then get the OCZ. It has shown numerous times to be the THE best AMD mem you can get a hold of.

i know its the best, but its also only 1gb. my question is if 2gb of average ram would be a smarter investment than 1gb of the best. i have 1gb ocz right now and its fast but sometimes it does have to swap data to hdd i think. plus teh 2gbn a-data are only 40 bucks more than the 1gb ocz so its twice the memory for almost the same money.

Uh. TCQ and NCQ are NOT the same thing. Hence the different name. Do some googling, I'm to tired to do your research for you. But as long as you're misinformed, keep your misinformation to yourself.

i reread. so theyre not totally identical but the basic idea is the same wohoo~~. anyway the raptor 2 has tcq. and the seagates ncq.

The reason I'm being so adamant about this is because there is a major performance difference between the two.
