So....as the wedding photographer for my sister I'm getting paid by getting the EOS Digital Rebel (love it so far!).

I'm trying to figure out whether I want more storage or more speed. The two cards in question are about the same price. ~$160

I just can't afford (unless they're paying for this too) to get the 1GB CF card. :( I'm kinda leaning on the edge of storage space.

Are the transfer rates that much different anyway?

I'd hazard a guess by saying that the CF card will be a lot faster than the Microdrive card. Honestly, with the advent of +1GB, heck even 512MB CF cards, the Microdrive has gone the way of the dinosaur. The Microdrive's selling point, at the time, was the insane amount of storage space available for digital devices. I wasn't aware that Transcend, or any other manufacturer, made 45x cards, I have a lowly 25x 256MB Transcend and I love it!
