1and1 question for users that got free account.

Do the free proffesional 3 year accounts that we got include PHP and also GD?
I want to try setting up a image gallery using Coppermine or Gallery?
Has anyone done that with there Free accounts?

I'll email there tech support but maybe get faster answer here

actually, it's kind of painless with 1and1 if i remember correctly. you don't need to change any setting at all, the default setting works just fine. just upload, run the setup, and it's right there.

a very different experience compared to some other webhosts where you need to e-mail support to turn on or turn off some features (i forgot what they are exactly, haven't done it for quite a while now. but you know, those things that are required if you want to run Gallery).

i am hosting 2 domains on my 1and1 account and they both work fine. One of them is strictly for my photogallery.

gallery states you need imagemagik or NetPBM i need to install that also?

NetPBM is installed by default and available for free 1and1.com accounts.
