1and1 Paths?

Does anyone here know the paths used on their servers? When I login via FTP I go straight to a '/' without the ability to backtrack to find the path.

Any help is appreciated. If I haven't supplied enough info to help solve this problem please let me know and I will tell you what I can about my account with them.

www.wolfsraider.com/

is mine.

but as you add folders you get www.wolfsraider.com/images/index3.html as i put thos images in the image folder

as i have two domains there i created folders for them:

wolfsraider.com
and
s89287934.onlinehome.us

then i went to domain setup and pointed the respective domains to the correct folder

when i installed phpMyAdmin-2.5.3&phpbb using ssh (found in the faq) i thn moved them into folders created for them and pass word protected them

in ssh it uses your domain name -username and password

same with ftp

is this what your looking for?

If you need to find the absolute path where your web files are stored, log in via SSH (the info is given under your control panel at http://admin.1and1.com ) and enter the command "pwd" . This will tell you the entire path of your files on the server.

Thanks, the SSH got me my path, but my script still isn't working. I'm trying to run this script and its not letting me past my first refresh. Any suggestions? I'm also interested in installing geeklog. Can anyone help me with this?

For those who might have similar questions, I found the answer.

Click 'Selected Contract'>Domain Overview>Click the "I" and it will give it to you.

Still having some PHP problems though. If anyone has some free time, please PM me and I'll go into the problem a bit deeper.

Thanks to all who helped!

you "could" just post any php problems you have in software. The people there are usually helpful...
