Ok, question regarding 1and1 and basically servers in general:

Is there any way to delete a folder and all its contents w/o manually deleting all the files inside, and then deleting the folder?

Also: I made my root directory ".../htdocs/www" Can I still link to folders/files in ".../htdocs/"? And if so, how?

rm -r <directory>
to delete a directory that is not empty.

Thank you, did the trick! I had tried rm, but obviously that didn't work.
