I followed your suggestion after thinking it was a good tip. Less confusion is always helpful.

Are you a public speaker or work in HR by any chance?

Response Time: 15mS (Rising), 10mS (Falling)
I believe you just add up the numbers to get 25ms right?

The 25ms response is a bit to slow for me.

Anyone know of a good deal on a 19" LCD with DVI and 16ms repsonse time (or less)?

Now $249 after $110 rebate. 17" is $169 after $80 rebate. This seems like a great deal to me. What are your thoughts?

It does have DVI.

Reasonable if a bit slow RMA process if you receive a defective unit (5 weeks to RMA)

Display is excellent!

Rebate processing very slow... 7 weeks and no signe of my rebate being "received" or "in-process" ... I'm trying to remain calm.. patience is a virtue.

This is my first time posting... bare with me...

Does the response time really matter ALL that much?? mine LG LCD has a 16 ms response time... but this LCD is a 100 bucks cheaper with 25 ms... does it really matter???

16ms > 25ms, and yes you'll notice difference in games and also when you scroll down your windows. NO DVI! i can't believe how can people live without DVI!!! if you can see a pimple on a model, think about watching porn!

If you're feeling froggy, PCMall has these open box for sale for $302.99, plus about $25 shipping (free ground though AR).

No mention of the rebate on the open box, but assuming the UPC is intact, it should still be valid.

Linky
Saves about $50 more than the "new" price.

Yes, I purchased one in December when the AR price was $299 - No word on the rebate yet. Mine had 3 bad pixel elements and was RMA'd for a defect free unit, which took the aforementioned 5 weeks. I'm not a gamer so can't rate gaming performance but for general use it's a nice display.

Link says $249 AR now. Seems like a pretty good price. I'm going to recommend it for my dad. Since he doesn't game the speed doesn't matter.
