Nonevent n : an anticipated event that turns out to be far less significant than was expected. AKA boring, dull, bland, blah.

Which is what the GTO is compared to the Vette. It simply does not turn heads like it's flagship cousin.

non-event as in to the cop looking to target vehicles...the corvette hardly gets cops to bat an eye. They are mosly targeting the rice rockets more than anything esp cars with fart cans.

If you are flying down the highway at triple digits, the cops won't care what you are driving.
