1992 geo metro

My car won't go all the way in gear and drive but the clutch,the linkage and tranny are all fine what could be the problem?

I know you say the 'tranny' is fine, but is there enough transmission fluid there? I had this similar issue with my Honda a whole back and it was the slave cylidar that was leaking and once I had that repaired and fluid up to specs it shifted like a champ.

The problem is you picked a random forum on the internet, one that isn't even focused on cars, to diagnose something that needs an expert physically looking at it. Go to a shop.

Obviously the clutch, linkage, and trans are all NOT OK if you can't get it all the way in gear. Something, somewhere is worn or broken.
