I've been looking for a summer toy and came across a 1991 Miata with 115k miles. I'm considering offering $2000 for it. It has a new top and is claimed to need no repairs and is very reliable. What do you think?
Down here in Florida, if the condition truly is "needs nothing" and doesn't have any other surprises, is say anywhere between $3000 and $3500. But it's very rare that you find a 24 year old car that needs nothing, new top or not. So you'd likely be toward the $3000 here. So even then, the $2000 for the car is dirt cheap.
