1991 IZUZU Trooper problem, any one who knows about cars please help

I will turn the key, the thing will start without problem. I can usually drive a little bit when all the sudden the thing will go off. It will start back up after I turn the key again, but it is a real hazard having it just go off. Can anyone help?
