90k for a 11 year old car isn't much as long as it wasn't driven by a 16-18 year old for most of those miles.

3-4k for that car is nice considering the low mileage for it's age. Personally, I'd look for a 1991 or higher if possible, that's when it first came with the DOHC engine. Almost the same horsepower and torque, but subtle differences in the engine and gearing make the 1991 and above cars better performers. Every little bit helps. :)

That's a decent deal, considering the mileage is relatively low and assuming the car is in good condition all around. And make sure it wasn't driven by some teenage kid.

I would check things like the brake pedal for wear but I would probably believe 90k on it. Some people don't drive 30k miles a year, I only drive about 5k-6k. I can't remember what a 240sx looks like but I am sure its a small sporty car so probably wouldn't be used on many long distance trips. Also being a small sporty car might not have been driven much in the winter.

mmm, nice torquey (sp?) engine, not that fast though...(cuzz of weight isn't it? i admit i don't know alot about them, but isn't their engine derived from a small 4 cylinder truck engine?)

If its souped up version of the 2.4l thats in my 93 nissian truck its probably pretty decent. It moves my truck around pretty well.

Those are nice cars - if you want to make it a gofast car, you can drop in the SR240Det (I think thats it) from the Japanese version(Silvia). Turbo 4cyl makes that thing haul ass :)
