Hmmm Am I the only one who still has a 32 inch CRT tv. I bought it for $25 last fall and it works great.

DOCSIS 3.0 will support 152+ Mbps but cable Internet doesn't support anything above 12 Mbps or so right now so I doubt we'll see a rise to more then 38 Mbps down for a while with cable internet. And upload won't hit 30 Mbps for another 10 years probably, unless more areas get decent fiber lines (FTTN, FTTH) where cable needs to compete better.
The only markets where cable even tries are those with FIOS, and why would you have cable if you had FIOS as an option? I have no clue

The cable companies have a monopoly here, we won't be getting FIOS for along time.
