This is like Nazi Germany where everyone was encouraged to spy on their neighbors. Plenty of Germans themselves ended up in concentration camps arbitrarily deemed as a threat to state. Now you know what Fema camps are for. Just wait until a nuke goes off in a low flying aircraft. Maybe ISI will give it to AQ, maybe they are assembling a gram at a time from NK/Iran, maybe get a hold missing cold war relic either way it will happen and all hell will break loose. You have seen nothing yet.

Probably because it's true. If you see a kid steal something and you forcefully detain the kid until security/police take him away, you will be sued and you will be charged.

We even had an article here in P&N where some 17 year old was trying to help a lost child find his mother. He was charged with kidnapping the child. Lesson - NEVER help anyone. Ever. Call the police anonymously from a pay phone or store phone, don't leave a callback name or number, leave the scene immediately so nobody knows you were there.

who said forcefully detain anyone. You call the police or alert others around you.

To those talking about 'snitches', wtf are you dealing in heavy weight or something?

Crime is not cool especially when it ends up eventually happening to you.

Keep in mind most burglary / robberies are eventually found to be close acquaintances. Probably your little gang banger friends 8-Ball and DePain you covered for.

There is a big difference reporting 'jews' to the military machine than people watching out for each other.

heh heh heh heh...
During hay season, I use a lot of salt. A LOT of salt. It helps keep the hay from getting moldy, etc. Instead of just buying a couple of 50 pound bags of salt, I'll usually just get the smaller packages of salt, simply because they're a lot easier to spread around. So, about a shopping cart worth of salt, which the Walmart Brand is something like 29 cents for. (each)

This is going to be even more fun next year.
"Wow, you have a lot of salt" always says the cashier.
"Yep. If you want a lot of salt peter, you need a lot of salt."
"What's salt peter?"
"An ingredient in explosives. Errr, uhhh, never mind, I'm just uhh joking <fake a nervous look and look around.>

Pretty soon we'll have a Ministry of Propaganda (oh wait, that's foxnews), and sedition will be a capital crime.

I think some people feel like their lives would be more meaningful if they were living under a truly authoritarian regime. Their lives seem sillier if they admit that nobody is keeping them down except for themselves.

you don't know much read rise and fall of third Reich. Identical.

Actually I have read more than once "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" and there are no similarities between the United States today and the Weimar Republic in Germany during the period after WWI and 1933. We have not signed any treaties that the country at large feels were manifestly unfair, we are not currently anywhere close to experiencing hyperinflation, we are not paying reparations, and we have not been forbidden to arm ourselves just to name of few of the many non-similarities between the United States today and Germany in 1933.

Main difference is that Germany was required to pay money to stuff. USA - not so much. If the shit hits the fan, government will just say "that's it, we're cutting medicare until further notice" then overnight the expenses have gone waaaay down until debt can be repaid. Replace medicare with anything you want. We're cutting military until further notice. Cutting welfare until further notice. etc.

edit:
I've been told that Canada basically did this before. Federal spending was out of control so they slashed a bunch of it. The result was that provinces (states) picked up the slack. Example: medical care is very different between provinces, and government insurance cards from one province don't work in every province; emergency hospital care is still free everywhere. Each province runs their own education system.
It sucks I can't find a graph to show some kind of a trend, but this graph seems somewhat useful:

Wildly different scales of federal government.

What happened to my post? Did someone report it to Big Sister or something?

I said, when did the gangster rap motto "don't snitch" become mainstream?

It might be safer to just kill him, delete his entire post history, and pretend we never spoke with him before :hmm:
