1920x1200 res monitor

I am looking to replace my HannsG HG281D 28" monitor after 5 years of use. Only thing wrong is the hdmi board caps are starting to go. While I can fix this and keep this unit as a spare/2nd display I think I am ready to get a newer unit. Problem is I can't find anything with 1920x1200 res. Just used to it I guess. Anybody have ideas? I am worried that a higher res will be hard on my eyes. Not sure if I wanna get say 30" and up monitor. Really wish there were other 28" monitors with 1200 res but can't find any, or I am getting lazy.

Thanks for ideas.

I'm in the Netherlands. We have an awesome website here to find computer-related products and lowest prices. I always use it when looking for hardware.

The website tells me there are still 96 different 1920x1200 monitors for sale.
However, if I limit the search to 28" or larger, and 1920x1200, it seems there are no such monitors for sale anymore.

When I remove the 1920x1200 requirements, and add 16:10, I get 11 results at 28" or larger. All those monitors are 2560x1600. They are a bit more expensive, ranging from 800 euros to 1000, 1300, 2000 and even one monitor of 3000 euros.

Hope this helps.

larger than 28" you'll be happier with 1440 resolution you'll have more vertical pixels than your 1200 monitor, so you're actually gaining real estate.

32" 2560x1440 monitor will have the same pixel density as a 24" 1900x1200 monitor, It'll just be a lot bigger (I know you had a 28. Just working from the rules of thumb I am familiar with).
