I currenty game on a gateway 24 inch monitor at 1920 x 1200

My system currently cant really handle that resolution in its current spec....
xp sp 2
e6400 @ 2.74
2x2gb ddr 800
9800 gt @ 702/1782/1026
asrock p45r2000

i was thinking of going sli with another 9800 gt.
aswell as upgrading my power supply to a CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V.
which would help my cpu overclocking abilities i think.

do you think this would be a good idea??????

well your motherboard doesnt support sli so thats out. just get you a gtx260 or 4870 1gb and sell the 9800gt.

No, it only supports CrossfireX. You must have a Nvidia chip on motherboards before X58.

its ALWAYS better to go with a faster single card then to fool with crossfire and sli if you dont have too. you would be much better off with a gtx260 or 4870 1gb. also you might want to get a little more info on that power supply. if it is junk then you need to replace it for sure before adding any more upgrades.
