Is there a large enough difference (whatever it may be) to choose the athlon xp 2000 over the 1900? Hmm?

There seems to be a pretty big price difference and not even 100mhz diff so i would go with 1900+

The XP2100+ is coming out soon so the prices of the slower cpus will probably drop after it is released.

I 3'rd that, the 2000+ will be alot cheaper pretty soon also so you might want to hold out, if you have to have something now go for the 1900+

I'd get an 1800+
for the prices right now, the 1800+ looks to be like the best deal pretty much.
1700+ are the same price as 1600+ so that is the best deal overall, but if you want a bit more power while still keeping the price relatively low, the 1800+ is the best IMO.. if i were to get one now, that's what it would be.. the 1800+

Can you REALLY tell the difference between an AMD Athlon XP 1900+ and an AMD Athlon XP 2000+?
NOPE.
Ok ... ok ...
benchmark apps WILL tell the difference (and it is SLIGHT)
but .. in REAL WORLD apps ... by REAL WORLD people ...
will you notice the differnce between 1533 MHz and 1600 MHz?
NO!
HELL NO!
And absolutley not!
So ... save the money!
(which is why you were looking into AMD CPUs to begin with)
