I own this one. Got it about 4-6 months ago and aside from the fact that I feel like I should have spent the extra $100 or so for a larger monitor it's been great.

It's my first LCD and I jumped ship from a 19" CRT generally running at 1280x1024@85. I was worried about ghosting and the 60Hz refresh rate but neither have been an issue. The biggest issue for me was getting used to viewing angles and the non-true black, but after the first week you don't even notice them anymore.

Like I said my only negative thought is I should have gotten a larger monitor for the extra resolution as video cards/games are really pushing harder for larger display sizes right now. I'm looking at a large upgrade in a month or so and while I want the performance of the 8800GTX I'm sure a large part of my money is going to be wasted using it at 1440x900.

I bought a 19" widescreen (Viewsonic) a while back, and it was "OK" for gaming. However I felt the screen was too short, and I gave the moitor to my wife. She likes it a lot for general desktop use, and prefers it over a standard 19" screen. I like my current 22" widescreen a lot better, although it was $299.

The 19" widescreens are at a great price point, though. If that's all you can afford, then they are great for the money. They just won't immerse into a game like a larger LCD will. Definately get one with DVI and RGB connectors.
