19" Widescreen looks blurry with PS3

I recently bought a 19" widescreen LCD tv (Westinghouse) from TigerDirect. I noticed it has a native resolution of 1440x900. It looks great as a computer monitor, but the PS3 is underwhelming.

Is this just because it has to scale the PS3 resolution to 1440x900?

Is there ANYTHING I can do to make it a little better?

It also cuts off the edges of my picture (though it may just be the sides).

Update: My main concern now is how the tv cuts off the left and ride side of the image. The scaling option will not change when running in high-def (but it will in standard: full, zoom, and normal). Is there anything I can do?

If don't have something to say relvant about then don't post at all. Just because you think its a junk , doesn't really make it one.

Oh, of course! Now I need to find out whats wrong with our 50"...for some weird reason the PS3 looks amazing on it...hmm...

By the way, I got it for free in a contest.
