19 volt power bank for 19.5 volt laptop?

I have an hp spectre xt touchsmart 15-4010nr and the charger that came with it says 19.5 volts. I want to buy an external battery because the spectre has terrible battery life. However, the only external batteries I can find are 19 volts. Will this be ok?

It *should* be within the reasonable limits of the motherboard to accept.

Almost certainly ok. The voltage of the internal battery will also vary a lot depending on charge level. Most likely below 19V before depleted. So you can be sure the voltage regulators can handle 19V.

A company I used to work for were happy to send out replacement power bricks that were sometimes 0.5v away from the laptop's rated voltage and they rarely had them returned.
