Can anyone recommend a good (any price) 19" small foot-print monitor.

I haven't found one yet that hasn't been praised in one review and not blasted in another.

Many thanks

I don't know of many off hand, but I'm sure if you hung around the hot deals forum long enough, you'd find some, ironically, hot deals on some monitors or some coupons being hinted at that could be used toward them. As for what make or model, you can't go wrong with Viewsonic, NEC, Sony, or even CTX. You'll have to watch out for the aperature grill on those Sony's though...damn annoying lines. :)

Check out the samsung 955sl, it's the brother of the very good 955df. I was actually going to get that but then opted for a flat screen. You won't be able to find short length monitors that are flat because they can't bend the light effectively.

I did however end up getting the NEC accusync 95F from amazon which is a flat screen and as it turns out it is very small. The dimensions are inside a 18" box and that makes it not much bigger then most 17" monitors. However a short lenght monitor may take an extra couple inches off the lenght.

Good Luck!
