when are ATOTers going to get over complaining about shipping costs.

it's not like it's hidden or unposted. why not just figure in the price of shipping and make the appropriate bid?

That's how people make back eBay and PayPal fees.

eBay 101. Not surprising at the least, and I can't say I haven't done it myself.

Are you looking for a DVD burner?

Anyway, yeah, it's the new eBay, charge up the ass for shipping/handling, hope the buyer doesn't catch it.

I was looking @ an auction for a mini lathe with shipping/handling of $70, prob 2X what it would really cost...

Yes, I am looking for a burner. I can get that one from Newegg for $80, shipped. I just thought I'd take a look at e-ripoff first.

Might hang on till tomorrow & see what the B&M stores have on sale....

I also started buying non-Pioneer burners, they're so freaking cheap anymore, if it dies in a year, just chunk it & buy another disposable unit...

Ebay is only good for rare parts, or parts that are no longer available/being manufactored. New stuff ALWAYS costs more on ebay. Unless its stolen of course.

Ebay hasn't been a good place to get a deal since like 1998.
