Princton used to be great. Right now they are pretty good.
My friend has one of these. Its worth more that 279, but not much more...

I just bought one this week and so far I like it very much. I am running 1280 X 1024 @ 85 Mhz. I notice more grain than with my Mag 17" but for the price I really didn't expect it to be as good as it is!

princetons are absolutely awful monitors. Anyone who says differently just hasnt had the opportunity to use a good monitor. Stay away from these no matter what the price is

To tell you the truth, any monitor brand that isn't mitsubishi, KDS, samsung, sony, hitachi, illyma, or viewsonic, optiquest isn't even worth considering. I know i left out NEC,but i don't really care for them now. They used to be cool but i dunno about now and i stay away from them. Brands like Princeton, or sylvannia? hahah gimme a break. I'd stay away from those.
