It certainly is a very girly looking lion in the official university-sponsored art. We have 3 or 4 statues of the thing kickin' around on the York campus, and it's more of a mountain lion than anything. A very low-slung, hussy slut looking mountain lion. Can't quite blame them.

Uh, no, it's called tradition. The top two things that would cause mass protest from the largest alumni association in the country -

1) Fire Paterno
2) Change the uniforms

And you obviously don't live in Pennsylvania. Every fifth car has a Nittany Lion pawprint or logo.

The only NCAAF NBC does is Notre Dame home games. So you're either getting it or your local affiliate is deciding to preempt national network programming for something non football.

oh right, forgot it's on NBC. thought it was on ABC.

i hope that NBC has upgraded their sports production values from the mid 90s (when the lost the NFL) now that they've gotten the NFL back.

My friends suck like that too. Sometimes I get them to play a sport like tennis (throwing a football would be too much), but they refuse to put any effort into running after the ball and make it more frustrating than it's worth...
 
My prediction is that ND will win, but not by as much as you'd expect a #3 team to beat a #19 by.
