edit 2/19. They changed the online price to $199.99 so it looks like the only deal is for
$149.99 AR. Sorry.

Ad says instore only but I am able to order online. YMMV.

Office Depot link SKU 725415

Norcent 19" widescreen LCD monitor Digital/Analog $149.99 no rebates. 1440 x 900, 5ms response time , DVI-D (digital); VGA 15-pin D-sub.

edit: ad shows $149.99 after $50 MIR. Website shows $149.99 price no rebate. $50 rebate form link in post below.

Odd. The ad DOES say In-store price $199.99 minus $50 MIR. The product page online shows $149.99 as purchase price. I dunno. I would think ordering online and trying for the rebate in addition would be the way to go.

Thanks for the rebate link and a heads-up on this.

If you order it for instore pickup its $199 but if you order it for delivery its $149 the wait is worth it.

How often does Officedepot deny rebates? Could they deny it based on there being only an online receipt and no in-store receipt.
$149 isn't too great a price but $99 is fantastic. The rebate worries me though.

Hopefully the rebate will come. Don't forget that you can get a free boombox and luggage set with it (or some other combinations) with a couple coupons.

The solution is to buy one for her and you.

Hah! Yeah I am sure spending $200 will make her happier than $100. We'll it would be for the desktop, which she uses more than me. So, in a way, it is for her!

Thanks OP just picked one up, I read the rebate form I printed out no where does it say instore pickup only for rebate! I had to pay tax but a 19 inch widescreen 5ms response time w/dvi and analog is an awsome deal for $111.00 after rebate

If you picked it up didn't you have to pay $199? That would result in it being $149 after rebate, correct?

I'm guessing he meant picked one up in the general sense. Which is what I am trying to hold off doing, but I think I will cave in any second now.

my 19 is 1280x1024

Because yours is regular monitor, but we are talking about wide (16:9 or 16:10) here :)

Anyway, I just ordered one as well. This specific product is not on Norcent website (Only LM-965W), however, there is a PDF file for the product, and this can be found HERE.

19" Widescreen, 850:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, DVI -- All great, but there is one huge bad thing, which is 140/130 viewing angle. 140H/130V viewing angle is one of the worst 19" wide monitors in the market.

Good find. I guess for $110 (after tax), can't complain too much. I am going to bite on this one. Taking my "crappy ol'" 17" one to work.

Store said they'd honor the web price as it rang up $199 in store. However, they took and trashed the rebate that printed up. I printed one off the web link provided here. We'll see how it goes. :)

It is nice. :)

I just tried to order one of these online and after putting in my zipcode, it says that it is not available in my area. Anyone still able to order one?

16.7 million colors is good--better than the 16.2 million and dithering on most low-cost LCDs. Also .285 pixel pitch is a bit better than the .294 common on standard 19" LCDs.

Anyway--the price can't be beat. I ordered one on the website--now, let's hope there aren't too many bad pixels . . .

Guess I will jump in. Been waiting for widescreen goodness at a low price.

Heres hoping on that rebate.

FYI, some people report using a $20 off coupon by calling the order in.

Anyone find any reviews, or have anything to say about this monitor?

[old man]

I remember when I bought my Dell UltraSharp 1900FP for $690 back in November 2002. At the time it was a hot deal considering retail was $999.
