Key matchup for the ACC Atlantic division. BC is 6-0 at home this year, but my Terps have won 5 straight games. They've been looking better every week. A win against BC will make next week's game vs. Wake Forest all the more interesting.

Go Terps!

Have tickets to Wake vs Maryland next Sat. too! Hope to hell they beat BC today - most places seem to be calling it a tie, but giving a small advantage to BC due to home field adv.

I stopped watching after the interception returned for the TD. Ugly, ugly game. :(

Damn...Maryland was supposed to be WVU's "quality win" also. You guys don't have any other super-tough teams on your schedule, do you?

Wah wah wah. All we hear are more Big East naysayers: it must have really pissed you off when Herbstreit said today that the winner of the RU/WVU game will go to the NC if USC drops one more. "I don't care who you are, nobody wants to face White/Slaton."

Even WVU wins and doesn't make it, it will be a WVU/Michigan Rose Bowl dream matchup since Michigan is getting that ass spanked. *books hotel in Cali*

BTW who will play GT for the ACC title if Maryland beats Wake next week (assuming Wake can beat VT tonight). That would put the division in a 3 way tie between UMD/BC/Wake. What is the tiebreaker for the ACC, highest BCS ranking?

Wake would have to lose to VT for it to be a 3 way tie.

Obv. MD plays wake next week, and I believe BC plays Miami. So....

If wake wins tonight vs VT, and beats Maryland next week = It's Wake's

But if Wake loses to VT, well then it gets fun.

Basically if it ends up a tie, Wake > BC > Maryland as Wake beat BC this year and BC beat MD.

To answer your question, if anyone is tied, whoever won the regular season game vs the other team has the advantage.

When did I say anything about the Big East?

Lousville turned out to be very formidable against WVU...but not against Rutgers

Really it's just WVU I care about.

p.s. I don't think I was the one crying on 2 November. Rather, I was quite happy.

The above makes no sense if UMD beats Wake, it's a still virtual 3-way tie.

Ok, I admit that might not have been entirely clear, but I was under the influence of a few beverages at the time, sorry! =)

Edit: Bleh, that wasn't too clear either, lemme try again.

If Wake beats Maryland - it doesn't matter what BC does as Wake already beat BC this season. (Wake/BC would be tied, but advantage Wake for the earlier win)

If Maryland beats Wake - it will depend on what BC does, if BC wins then BC plays GT.
If BC loses to Miami by some random chance then Maryland will play GT.
