I have the 17" Flaton 795FT plus...best monitor I have seen so far, even compared to eizo-stuff...if the 19" is as good, go for it...
You won't get a flat tube monitor with less reflections...:D
Another highlight is the .24 dot pitch...it's worth it...

<<Samsung has the same things. And you can get it for $333 shipped right now.>>

Where?

<<My vote goes to the LG Electronics monitor, it's got BNC inputs and will do 1600 X 1200 @ 85hz. Maybe there's something I'm not seeing...but I'd like to order one of these monitors within a week. Thanks!>>

The Samsung does 1600x1200@89Hz, and a max resolution of 2048x1536, it also has BNC. Btw, contrary to popular believe, Samsung's service and warranty is excellent. Both monitors are good though.

Details of this deal can be found here, is it worth the extra $34 for the Dell P991 (Sony CPD-G400)?

Both different monitors one is aperture grill type(Samsung)and the LG uses new type of flat slot screen ,anyway it has no AG wires so it depends what you really want, btw I have a LG flatron 915FT and all I can say is I like it very much, good colour, text,no wires etc,so I`m happy with it.

There are many good deals going for monitors. I would get the samsung for $340, and you'll save a few bucks and I'm guessing you'll have a better monitor.

Just go to www.ebates.com and sign up. Everytime you want to place an order online, go to Ebates and find out if the merchant is there. If it is, click through and order. You can get up to 25% back depending on the merchant. You MUST click through to get the money. Every 3 months they send you a check if it is over $5. Simple as that. You can use me as a referral - success2000@iwon.com ;)

This has been my experience as well. I had a 900NF with faulty color in one corner. I emailed their customer service, 2 days later a guy was at my door with a replacement monitor. Pretty cool.

WOOHOO!!!!

The Samsung was at my door this morning when I woke up. I'm totally thrilled right now, I doubt I'll be leaving the computer other than for the bathroom and food for a few days. This is excellent!!!!

Thanks everyone, for your help and that great deal!

LXi good you know you beleive marketing hype.

<<The Samsung does 1600x1200@89Hz>>

Now if you could show me a video card that does 89Hz!

Samsung knows you can't do it, so they know the next step up is 90Hz, and well... it can't do 90, so it must default at 85Hz. Therfore it looks better on paper to have 89Hz because 89 is higher than 85. Even though both of them will only do 85Hz

Samsung is better though. I do agree with that.

Uh... have you used it? Probbly not huh? 'cause if you have, you'd know Windows will round it up to 90Hz(the actual refresh rate is like 89.6 or something), in 2048x1536's case, it'll round up to 70Hz.

Ok mr Smart LXi, Explain to me why windows will not let my viewsonic at 1600X1200@69Hz, run at 70Hz? Hmmm maybe because you BS!

I worked at CompUSA with the 900NF and MANY other monitors so STFU you looser and don't be so fast to accuse me of not using any products.
