I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Friend of mine needs one (I don't think his vid card will support the viewsonic 20" 2025, that's why he's going for a 19.) He uses it for playing WoW mainly and maybe some other games, and just general usage besides that. I know $200 is low, but I was wondering if there's any decent screens available for that price. I've searched around, but havn't really seen a recommendation in this range. Thanks!

i grabbed a 19" dclcd widescreen monitor from newegg. 8ms response time great contrast and the picture is amazing. runs at 1440x900 native res which will hopefully make my 7900gt (650/1950) last longer with full eyecandy. i absolutely love it and it was 207 shipped via ups 3 day.

I have one of these and its very good for the price:

you can also get a 2 ms version:

The 19" widescreen LCDs are not too bad - I have a Viewsonic 19" widescreen as well. I did feel that it was a little "short", but its still a very good option. It has a little more backlight bleeding, compared to the BenQ. I have this one:

This one might be worth a look:
