19" LCD for $299 at NewEgg

LCD prices are dropping like crazy. This is a rather nice looking unit, but it dosen't have DVI - something I would hold out for.

true, but still, $300 is the lowest i've seen a monitor this size. even dell won't give you a deal like that on analog LCDs. without MIR BS that is.

I agree great price but DVI a must, the 8 or less dead pixel quote from newegg kinda scares me, I know it's a given but sure wish someone would go with no dead pixels from the start at least you start out with a screen that had you have no "known" imperfections at the get go,,, I understand Samsung started a zero dead pixel policy on their flat panels....

Just earlier this morning there was a 19" 8ms DVI LCD on the newegg main page for $299. I forget the name brand, and I would have posted it but I figured there would already have been 20 posts on it already.
