NewEgg has this monitor for $247 before a $50 MIR. The price is pretty attractive. Does anyone in these forums have any experience regarding this monitor. BenQ offers a 3-yr warranty (parts, labor, and backlight). It has a DVI input. The NewEgg reviews are positive, but I don't know if I want to trust that NewEgg is posting "all" of the reviews.

I plan on using it for mainly for Web surfing, office applications, and maybe some light gaming (simple games for my young kids). I would remove the stand and slide it into a space in the piece of computer furniture that I have (it looks like a bookcase).

I don't know... I am a little leary because of the cheap price. I have always believed the old saying that "you get what you pay for." Here is a link to NewEgg's page BenQ T903.

Let me know your thoughts.

I have one of these monitors and it works very well (it is on one of my kids pc). the off angle viewing is not that great but it works well for gaming and has a nice bright display(looks much better than the 19 inch CRT sitting next to it). overall I would say it is a nice monitor. I got mine at office depot 6 months ago for $120.00 after rebate and could not pass up on the price (from slickdeals.net) oh ya it has DVI input as well.

AU (Acer-Unipac) Optronics. Acer and BenQ's electronics division merged if I remember correctly. Most BenQ monitors I've seen include AU Optronics panels. Type in BenQ here and you can get a fairly comprehensive list: http://www.flatpanels.dk/panels.php
