19" KDS Monitor for 229.99 after rebate (In Store Only?)

Office Depot B&M have the KDS VS-190 19", 18"viewable .27dp monitor for $299.99 minus a 70.00 (In Store) rebate for a final cost of 229.99. Not bad for a monitor with a three year warranty. This is a good deal if you have an older monitor and want a larger display without spending a bundle. Not the newest technology, but an ok deal all around IMHO. As always, your mileage may vary....

Maverick, when you post a deal you need to post all of the details. You didn't specify how to get the rebate at all. I would assume it prints out with the receipt or you pick it up in store but a clarification would be nice.

The Vs-190 is a nice monitor and that price is hard to beat. I believe this monitor does 1600x1200 @ 75hz. It is of course, not flat, but for that price most people aren't worried about flat or not. It uses a shadowmask tube like all value monitors.

been a better deal a while ago. the rebate is an OD rebate. We had it for 250 and a 50 rebate a few weeks ago

As I stated in the original post, this is a brick and mortar deal and it was in their sunday ad. I do not know if it is available online and I assume you have to go to the store to get the rebate. I purchased a monitor yesterday, not this one, but I it seemed like a good deal so I posted it. If you have an older 17" monitor, around .28dp, and are looking for some extra space, this is it. If you are looking for a totally flat screen with anti-glare, this is not the monitor for you. This appears to be a nice, cheap and decent monitor for the price so buyer beware and go look at one to decide. As always, your mileage may vary...
