Yeah, with cash, definitely the Sony CPD-G400. Coming close is the KDS AV195TF, which in some cases is even better, and third up, the Samsung 900NF. All three are great monitors, you won't lose anything should you pick any of them.
Another vote for the Sony, but check out the Hitachi CM771, I have two of them and they are gorgeous... also do a search for past threads, there has been a few heated threads on this subject.
I'm hoping the KDS AV195TF is a good contender against the Sony G400. I just picked one up with the Mercata / Passport deal. Anyone have experience with both?
Hey.... anyone using a 19" flat screen monitor!
I've tried 3 different models and all have exhibited slightly out of focus text towards the right edge while viewing some web pages, like this BBS for instance. I don't notice it in other text aplications, but I do notice it for instance when reading posts here that go all the way across the page.
Diamondtron NFs have a larger dot pitch at the edges, which comes out as a bit fuzzier. Another reason Triniton flat tubes are better. However, I still have a Diamondtron tube (Viewsonic PF790) because the price was much cheaper, and the edge fuzz not that noticable.
The DiamondTron NF is not fuzzier, your ViewSonic proves exactly what I'm saying. They just have a different look than the Trinitrons. Whichever looks better is purely personal opinion, neither is better than the other.
