19" Flat CRT or 15" LCD?

Which one would you choose? A 19" flat CRT or 15" LCD? Decisions...

Depends on where I'm going to use it. I'd have more use for a 15" LCD than a 19" CRT though, the only place I could put the CRT would be in front of my desk.

I went from a 19" CRT to a 15" LCD and love it. It may be smaller, but it weighs a lot less, takes up less space, and the picture is crisper.

a 17inch crt has 16 inch viewable, while a 15inch LCD has 15 inch viewable so no.

I wonder why CRT monitors are not rated by their viewable size.. its pretty cheap that a 21 inch monitor can get away with being ~19 inch viewable..

19" CRT if you are a normal user, 15" LCD if your in front of it all the time (6+ hours a day).

BTW, you're really comparing 15" vs 18" ... and while a 15" LCD isn't huge, it's really not bad....
