19" CTX monitor for $152 or $132 at Sams Club

I've just come back from Sam's club as I had read about a CTX deal on these discontinued monitors. First the manager told me that it was $269...but I asked him to check the prices at other Sams...he found another store which had a few in stock for $152..others that had them priced at $194!! So he gave me one for $152. So you guys might want to go in and get the manager to do the same as they are obligated to match the lowest price at any Sam's club. The store that he found the $152.00 priced monitors was at Duluth, Georgia and they still had a few left today! Also I think there is a $20 rebate for these monitors.

I was just told by a Sam's employee that prices can vary greatly from region to region. I didn't challenge him on it. I think I will call back and speak to a manager. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, the prices really vary from store to store at these clubs.

Few weeks ago, I found an 13" RCA TV marked down to ~$50; I grabbed the last one. I checked three other stores in the next 12 hours, and not one other had it on sale or would honor the first store's price.....

I called back and was told that I need to talk to the guy in charge of the electronics department. The person I talked to said it would be up to the dept. manager to decide whether to adjust the price. It's worth a shot I guess...sheesh, being a cheapskate is hard work

None at the Duluth GA store except for the display. (5:45pm Sun)
It was a little rough looking but the manager might give another % off since it's a display and no rebate available (no box). They were closing so I didn't have time to ask.

I called and spoke to the guy in charge of the electronics dept. He was very nice but said that he couldn't adjust the price that much right now ($269 to $152). He gave me an item# and encouraged me to call back periodically to check the price as it could change at any time.

Is Sam's Club getting out of the business of computer parts? Just an observation: The yahd killer deals on hard drives and now the ones that are in my area do not carry hard drvies anymore. Now they are having killer deals on monitors and when I stopped by, instead of having six models like they normally carry, they had two. I wonder. (Sorry to go off topic a little but this might lead us to more hot deals on joysticks, keyboards, etc.)
