19" CRT Monitors

What 19" CRT monitor would you recommend for heavy graphics work? There doesn't seem to be any particular monitor that stands out. I'm leaning towards the Samsung 900NF, even though it seems to have its share of problems.

What's your budget? If it's small, consiter the Samsung 950p, if it's big, get a sony trinitron, and If it's gigantic get a LCD!

I have the 900NF and use it for 'heavy photo-editing' work. The images are very sharp and color is superb. But you know, even after 6 months of using it, I still can't ignore the damper wires! So I suggest that you go to a store where you can look at AG (as well as Shadow Mask) monitors to see if you have a problem with the wires.

I bought a Sony Multiscan E400 (19" Flat CRT) about 6 months ago. Best £350 i have ever spent. Ever. 😀

About the damper wires, they can be seen if you 'look' for them, but they wont bother you if you dont search them out.
