KMart has released a new ad today featuring last minute offers for Christmas and is advertising Ghost Recon 2 (Xbox) for $19.99. This game was just released a few weeks back to good reviews and most stores are still asking $49.99 for this.

Thanks! My sons wanted this game... I said "no" to my wife concerning spending $50 for any other game after dropping 50 on Halo 2

Well folks, I was able to get it, but not from Kmart. All (3) of my Kmarts here in Sioux Falls, SD were all out. So I went to Wal-Mart for a pricematch, and the cashier didn't want to wait for a supervisor approval, so he hand-keyed it (added to system manually) which I am also an associate from their so I got 2 of them for $36, 1 for me, 1 for brother for xmas, thanks again guys!

chick didn't even call Kmart to confirm that they had it in stock.

(though, I did stop by KMart to put it on hold, called 1 minute before I got to the cashier @ CC and told the guy who was holding it @Kmart that I didn't need it) 😀 Worked like a charm! 😀

seriously, just like every other time, I honestly thought that security would stop me b/c the deal was so hot 😀 hehehhe. so fun. 😀

GRRRrrrr..... As usual, my Walmart sucks..
As they've done in the past, when they don't want to price match, they just pull all of an item off the shelf....
It was kinda conspicuous this time.... One open slot out of all the x-box games... everything else was in stock. There wasn't even a tag for it.. Out of the 100's of titles, I asked the guy in that department if they had Ghost Recon 2, he immediately replied "no" without even thinking for a moment.

I can see a store not wanting to price match... or a desire to not sell at a loss... But, either have a price match policy, or don't have a price match policy. Their price-match policy is on paper only... they avoid it like the plague.

Wooohoooooo!!!!!!! Even better!! EB games said they'd do a price match to a local store....

Last year, my younger son got a game for his birthday that he didn't like... we had bought it from EB the day before... he went to trade it in, but didn't have the receipt, so they only gave him the trade in value, and basically screwed him... sent him back with the receipt and they said "sorry, too late."

wow...I was CERTAIN that my walmart would have done that too...as I began to look, I saw a few empty spots w/ Halo2 and Halo laying all over the place, even San Andreas was like double stocked...but GR 2 NOWHERE to be found 😀 punks.

After a good 5 minutes of looking, I finally found 2 copies, PM'd both of 'em 😀 Man I love screwin' the man! 😀
