why so much hate for C1? ive been a cardholder since i turned 18... now got a good balance, has fee-free reward program, my card design is a custom photo of myself and friends, apr 8.99% , and once in a while i forget to pay balance i reach a CSR right away to overturn charges for me. only BAD thing about cap1 is that theres no online access on sunday nights when they maintain their system

They're notoriously stingy w credit lines and have a reputation for being sub-prime.

yes, it is REALLY high.

BUT, if you are responsible enough to have a credit card (meaning you can and will pay it off in full every month), then the interest rate should be of no concern to you. seriously, if you even look at it when considering a card, you should be asking yourself if you should really even have a credit card.

that is no trap. guy has credit card, goes over limit, gets more card and exceeds those limits. uses some cards to pay off other cards. guy moron.

thats as valid as blaming mcdonalds for serving hot , potentially hazardous , coffee

multiple issuance... all companies do this. i get as much spam from american express and citibank despite already being a card holder. people with bad credit deserve it.

APR doesn't matter. I don't ever forget to pay a bill and never carry a balance. I'd suggest others do the same.
