18V cordless drill/driver $30 w/ battery, 1hour charger, case, screw driver bit set... Polaroid photo printer $40

good price compared to a DeWalt drill, but who knows how long it will last, but for only $30 it might be worth trying.

Yesterday I noticed that WalMart BM has the Skil 9.6 volt drill on clearance for $30. This is the same one that Target was selling for $10 last month. May be able to do a PM if you can find the right manager...

DEWALT DRILLS ARE THE BEST!
I had mine for about 2 years, then it fell off the 2nd story deck, and landed on concrete:Q Now it works kinda off and on😉

This is a glorified cordless-screwdriver.
"No-load speed: 0-700 RPM"
700 rpm? Yuck....

Dewalt's are pricey, but if your gonna do work, they're great.

I have a 6amp corded model. Drills everything. Even has a spiffy bubble level built in to help me keep the drill level. My Dad has a cordless model, torque settings, two gear ranges. We built a deck using it and an old Sears corded model....the cordless Dewalt was sooo much easier to use and smoother.

If you don't have anything, you may like this "hot deal". It should be good enuf for light wood and drywall drilling.

My $.02

hehe... this is very interesting.

how can you guys compare this drill to dewalt.
first of all ... you could probably buy this drill and another drill from craftsman for about the same price as the dewalt 18v one.

it's just not fair to compair a vtech toy laptop computers to a PIII 1ghz laptops... just because they both run on batteries and look about the same. 😉

as for me... i'll save me my $30+shipping on this deal. i'm a lil' spoiled that way, but the last time i got me a cheap power tool, it gave me more frustration than assistance.

thanx though.

i must say, it's one of the better deals on a non-professional power drill.
usually, i see 12-14v ones... 18v would be nice.

I have this exactly same drill but I paid 49 and they are sold on e_bay for $19, IT SUX I gave it away went and bought Makita for over $100, it's cheap and totally suck made by company in chicago
