185W PSU sufficient to drive a TBred 1700?

Holds 10A through the +12V rail, and a sustained 100W on the 3.3+5V lines. Should this be enough (given only cpu fan + one extra, single HD, single optical drive) to give me clean operation? Motherboard = nF2 IGP.

It might be enough. You just need to check that the 12V rail is rated for 10A continuous - because you will be getting close to that.

What hard drive will you be using - there may not be enough 12V power to spin-up a fast drive (7200 or 10000 rpm).

Yeah, 10A continuous. Using a Seagate U6 5400rpm drive. (Yes, I'm aware the performance sucks, but they're even quieter than the Cuda IVs.)
