For $360? Is that the price you'd pay - what you get for your card? If not, link me to that shiz! ;)

So in the end you ended up paying around 700-800 dollars for the X1800XT (new 7800GT and difference in cost between sold GT and X1800XT? No way is it worth it. Wait until the 1900XTX comes rolling along here soon before selling.

No.. I'm getting a brand new 1800XT for $360 TOTAL w/o selling my 7800

so it's basically $80 for the total "upgrade" if i sell my 7800 for $280~

You must be smokin' bad weed if you already have a 7800GT on your hands. Just wait for a real monster card that comes out in the future.

I don't know if your seller has any more X1800XTs available, but if not, I'd be happy to purchase a 7800GTX for $299 or a 2nd 7800GT for $199 if he's interested. Seriously, where are you buying this from?

$80 to move from a 7800GT to a X1800XT? Hell yes. If nothing else, you can see what the fuss is about, good and bad, and a 512MB @ 750GHz DDR card will probably have a higher resale value than a 256MB @ 500MHz DDR one.

as you can see on this thread, there are actually people that believe that tha 7800gt is a better choice, so you should have no problem dumping an inferior nvidia card for much more than it's worth :)

D*mn, wouldn't hesitate on this one... Very nice price, and it'll be better in a lot of games (if not nearly all)...

I refuned my GTX and got a X1800XT and its an awesome card, not that much faster but its does have the edge in most games and the image quality is fantastic.
