So when I installed my 180 GB hard drive, Windows XP says its only 127 GB because thats the most it can address. The hard drive came with a PCI card that I am supposed to hook the hard drive into and I did that but i don't know why the computer only thinks the hard drive is 127 GB. Any help would be great.

Thanks in Advance

I believe there is a Windows "Critical Update" that fixes this. It is probably is in Windows XP SP too.

Did update to SP1 and check if that fixed it?
what motherboard? did you check the motherboard site for downloads or bios updates?
why didn't you install the PCI controller card?

more info would be nice.

Get the service pack here.
I prefer the Network Installation option; the Express option apparently only downloads the updates you need, so if you reinstall Windows, you need to wait for it to download all the files again - download the Network Installation, and you get one 134MB file with everything right there.
