That baby surely is one of the nicest LCDs I've seen so far, well, from pictures and specs-sheet.
And the fact of a total response-time of 33ms (16 rise, 17 fall) should even make it possible to play games on it.
Now I'm really tempted to get one, but before that I hoped to get some feedback, maybe from you people here on AT...🙂
 
You might want to look at Samsung's new 19in instead.

That NEC looks good, but the contrast ratio isn't high enough for games.
 
Haha.. I actually have the lcd 1830 and 1850 but not 1880 but I have a a samsung 19" lcd coming..

the lcd 1830/50 gets me so dizzy playing counter strike.. it's impossible..

thats why i got the samsung.. will test it when it comes.. hope it makes cs playable.
 
Should be deliver sometimes this week.. i been using the lcd 1830 for about 4 month now.. I got a lcd 1850 for a friend and it's just thinner version of 1830 i think..
 

Thanks for suggesting the SAMSUNG-model.
With an even higher contrast of 500:1 and a total response time of 25ms (I gave 'em a call) it's really an alternative.
I guess I'll be a little bit more patient until I can get one here.
