sorry guys i know this obviously is the opposite to a hot deal but i know how many people seem to be buying the 1700 Tbreds from Newegg with the hope of overclocking..
I ordered my CPU 3 days ago and when i opened my package tonight i discovered that it said LT3C on the stepping code.... I think im correct in thinking that this is the lower performing Rev A Tbred as opposed to the much talked about rev B tbred.
Hope this helps some of you, at least youve been warned.....
*im having bad luck right now, first some guy screws me on ebay for some RAM so im trying to cancel the money order i sent, as he won't even reply and then all the websites i order my new PC from delay my orders, i wouldn't mind so much except that I go back to the UK on Monday so i needed everything before i leave, most of it is arriving the day after ack... lucky i have someone who can at least mail it to me. Anyone got any advice on the best method of safely shipping my stuff back to the UK once it gets here and roughly how much it will cost *motherboard, 2 sticks RAM, and graphics card... shouldn't be too heavy*
