1700+ OCing help please

i got 2 0312 1700+ tbred B's. one seems to do 2300 mhz on 1.75V just fine. the other i'm kinda suck.

it does 2100 on 1.65V (200*10.5)

i tried to run 200*11 on 1.65V, no go
i tried 200*11 on 1.675, no go
tried all the way til 1.75V and no stable

any suggestions?

1) Try the mythical (or not) process of 'burning in' at 2100Mhz@1.65v for a while and see if it makes a difference in the speeds you can attain after whatever amount of time you 'break it in' for (Dont know what to think of this myself).

2) Take the Vcore even higher if you have good enough cooling (which you seem to do) and get the marshmallows ready just in case.

3) And the most likely option? Accept that the CPU is one of the fortunately rare examples of a decent stepping 1700+ not attaining a decent speed no matter what you do to it.

Besides that i have no idea... hope you manage to find some way of getting higher though! 😀

I'm guessing you boosted the Vdimm already.. Is this on the NF7-S ?

If so, you might have hit the wall...
