JIUHB 0312SPMW

Just received this chip from Newegg. Haven't got the rest of the system yet, so I cannot test its OC capabilities. I searched a good while and couldn't find any reports on a chip with similar markings. I saw a bunch of DUT3C 0312 chips but no DLT3C 0312.

Does this chip have potential or should I return it to Newegg and eat the $6 restocking fee, and get a sure thing from SVC (SVC was out of stock the other day when I ordered, but they got more the day after

It should have a lot of potential considering it's a 1.5vcore version of the 1700+ Tbred B. I think most of them will hit 2.2-2.3 GHz easily with the right equipment (nForce2 motherboard, pc3200+ ram, high quality PSU). I had some 0312 DUT3Cs a while back that got up to around 2.2 GHz with 1.7 VCore. Not too bad considering the stock voltage was 1.6. You should wait for your other parts and test it out.

That's what you'd be getting from SVC (D*L*T3C indicates 1.5v (VERY GOOD!)). I wouldn't send it back in a heart beat. The JIUHB indicates TBRED B, its a good week and SPMW is what SVC is as well. Check their website. 2.2GHZ + easily.

I just got a 1700+ DLT3C JIUHB 0312 also from newegg. How'd your overclocking go? I'm going to try mine out first thing tomorrow morning. I'd do it tonight but I need to install a new motherboard and reformat and everything.

DUH! Guys mind telling me what is the difference between Tbred A and B stepping?Which one has multiplier lock open?Which one is better? Is it OK to overclock with just the bundled HSF?
Enlighten Please.

I got it at 12x166 for 2GHz @ 1.6v. temp is at 34C with a SK-7 and YS adjustable on a NF7-S. just set it up yesterday so I haven't tried for much more yet. only got pc2700 right now so I can't go too high with the FSB.

i got that same chip from newegg, and it's currently running 12x166@2ghz as well, but it's on default voltage, 1.5v. Very stable. My motherboard is a newegg refurbished a7n8x deluxe reversion 2.0. Using 2 sticks of 512mb pc2700 kingston ram. I know the chip can go higher, but the ram is holding it back, I need to get some better ram or up the voltage to increase the multiplier.
Funny thing is that my temp is around 31C with only a cheap SVC GC68 HSF for $5, the heatsink is barely warm even overclocked.
