I'm gonna give you guys a heads up first.

Rumor has it that these 0309's are doing 2600 mhz on air.. at very voltages...

well...

i contacted excaliberpc and they responded back and told me that they would post the 0309 DLT3C's for sale in a few hours...

so if you guys want to take the risk and be the first at AT to test one of these babies, jump on it when you can :)

i would but i already ordered an 0307 DLT3C

:)

good luck !

be warned though... in order to get 2600.... you're gonna need some quality ram to hit FSB's over 210!!! because the 1700+ are locked after 12.5x (or you'll have to mod the chip)

(but of course we have no idea if it will even do 2600)

we need some guinea pigs!!! :)

Hmm not a good sign for me and my 9700pro. It won't do over 200MHz. My RAM and board will, but my card locks at anything greater than 198MHz (199 and 200 in the BIOS are actually 198 and 199 effective). So did they change something with these chips? I thought even the low B's had the high multis?

I think I may have to bite on this one. Although my board will likely hold me back. Can't seem to get anything over 180, and I don't want to do the VDD mod. So I might sell it and buy the Abit v1.2 board. Ne1 need a 3 month old 8RDA+? :)

Are there any nforce2 boards out there than can reliably support 200+mhz FSB voltages, or work with high multipliers? I know my A78NX can't without mods, and the 8RDA+ is the same I believe. Any in the pipeline? BIOS updates possibly?

Figures, I buy the wrong board :( I'll look into that guy some.

If you get one, make sure its a revision 1.2.

This new chip is tempting!

well..

someone from a different forum responded saying he has a DLT3C 1700+ 0308

his can do 2.35 ghz @ 1.65V

HOWEVER!!!!

i've heard this from other places as well... the new DLT3C's don't like high voltages...

most of these chips can't stand voltages higher than 1.8V

either way... 2.35 ghz @ 1.65V is very impressive

Bah, only 160mhz over my 0302, crappy A7N8X deluxe and crappy HAC-V81 cooler :) But if this is an indicator of the lower end of the OC...hmmmm
